Two new companies are joining PowerProduction in offering their products to students who are participating in President Obama’s I Am What I Learn video contest.  School Video News is proud to announce that Soundzabound, licensors of royalty-free music, and ActionBacks, leading creators of motion graphics and animated backgrounds, will make contest versions of their products available to students who are creating the two minute videos.

On September 8th President Obama spoke directly to students about education after which it was announced that an "I Am What I Learn" video contest would be launched mid September.  This competition invites students to create a two minute video on steps they will take to improve their educational experience and how education will play a role in fulfilling their dreams.

As a result, three companies have joined with School Video News in providing tools to students who wish to submit entries. Furthermore, each of the companies is offering prizes to the students and schools in the event they are finalists in the “I Am What I Learn” competition.  These products range from usage licenses of their products to cash for the student winner. 

To get your contest version of the products, please visit the sites below.  You must register with each company then provide the link to YouTube where your video can be viewed to be eligible.  Each company has their own criteria and registration form.  The finalist videos will also be featured in School Video News and on the SVN video channel.

PowerProduction is offering copies of their storyboarding software, StoryBoard Quick, to students who want to participate in the contest.
