Because you are a valued School Video News subscriber, we want you to know about this great opportunity for professional development and the perfect vacation specially designed for hardworking broadcasting/video production teachers.

Phil Harris and Janet Kerby are teaming up with Leisure Travel USA to offer teachers an exciting 7-day cruise to Alaska departing from Seattle on July 25, 2010. You’ll enjoy shore excursions when in port (Juneau, Ketchikan,

Skagway, and Victoria, B.C.) and your three at-sea days will offer
optional professional development. The cruise is yours to enjoy at a group
rate that is significantly lower than normal cruise fare beginning at $899
per person double occupancy. Feel free to bring a significant other,
spouse, and any friends who would like to take advantage of the group rate.
Anyone can join our group!

A portion of your at-sea days can be spent in the optional professional
development sessions of your choice, conducted by nationally recognized
trainers. You may choose up to 15 hours of continuing education from a
variety of topics including teaching techniques and Final Cut Pro. There is
a tuition fee of $250 which covers all of these sessions. At the conclusion
of the sessions you will receive a certificate of completion.
