PowerProduction Software Announces Martini QuickShot Creator™ for Windows
New Post-Production Visualization Plug-in available for Adobe Premiere Pro

PowerProduction Software, a leading developer of visualization software for film and video production, today announced the release of Martini QuickShot Creator (Martini) for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and CS4 on Windows. Martini, the first plug-in for post-production visualization, makes it easy for editors to direct additional shots and sequences. With Martini’s dynamic power, editors no longer need to use black slugs with text explaining what “shot goes here”. From single shots to multi-shot sequences, Martini helps directors and editors create a better final film.

Loaded with hundreds of classic and unique shot styles, Martini's easy-to-use interface guides editors through the quick creation of composite shots. Editors can select a style, such as basic over-the-shoulder shots, two and three shots, and close-ups as well as fight scenes, chase scenes, and other pre-composed multiple shot sequences. Then, editors can choose a location from hundreds of pre-loaded interiors, exteriors, and custom digital location photos.

"With new support for Adobe Premiere Pro, we're excited to be allowing even more directors and editors to visualize their final product, quickly and effectively, without having to leave their editing environment," said Paul Clatworthy, CTO, PowerProduction Software. "We know that when projects go from concept to production and on to post that there may still be missing pieces that need to be included to perfect the project. Perfectly integrated with the editor, Martini reduces the time it takes to conceive and generate new shots and sequences and allows for a seamless workflow and a better end result."

"Martini is perfect because when I haven't shot everything it allows me to see what I want to shoot next," noted Roger Christiansen, film and television director. “It's very cool and very easy to use.”

Martini QuickShot Creator is compatible with all PowerProduction Software products, including StoryBoard Quick and StoryBoard Artist.

Pricing and Availability

Martini QuickShot Creator is available immediately through the PowerProduction Software worldwide reseller channel and direct from the PowerProduction web site at www.martiniquickshot.com for an MSRP of $199 USD. Iowa’s Area Education Agencies partner with Soundzabound Royalty Free Music

The Iowa Area Education Agencies recently announced the provision of their online resources for 2011-2012. Included in these resources is Soundzabound Music (www.soundzabound.com) providers of copyright cleared music for use in multimedia for education.

Iowa AEA Online is in its eighth year of providing online resources to Iowa students and educators, allowing them, regardless of financial or geographic constraints, to offer a virtual library that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from any Internet-accessible computer.

“We are very excited that the Iowa AEA’s have selected Soundzabound as a partner”, states Barry Britt, President and Co-founder of Soundzabound Music.

“We have had some experience directly with a few of the AEA’s since 2007 and they have been such a pleasure to work with. The new partnership will allow Soundzabound to deliver an even higher level of service in the state of Iowa through this organized coordination.”

Jerry Cochrane, IEC coordinator, explained “Iowa AEA Online has provided an expanding virtual library for all students in Iowa since the fall of 2003. Next year offers exciting new resources and product changes in three categories. Committees are also reviewing eBooks and expanded video offerings. With the increasing number of 1:1 computer initiatives and the predicted explosion of tablet computing, AEA digital resources play an important role in student learning.”

While Soundzabound is known for being a technologically progressive company, they have also earned a reputation as specialists in digital citizenship, licensing and compliance by sharing their intellectual property through professional development services in education.

The 2011-2012 offering in Iowa will officially begin August 1st, 2011.
