Enter your school news broadcast in the SVN Broadcast News Competition. Deadline for submission is April 30th, 2011.

We did the SVN LipDub contest (watch for the winners next month in the April issue) and now SVN wants you to showcase your morning news or announcment show.

Working with EZ News, PrompterPeople, and Tally-Lights, we have structured this contest so that you can show us your best.  Light-hearted and humourous or serious and gripping, we want to see what your students produce. Whether its done daily or weekly, we want to see. Studio or classroom or even from the hallways, its news and its about your school.

Make sure you complete the entry form on SVN-TV and indicate which catagory:  Elementary, Middle, or High schools. Your show must be available to us on YouTube, SchoolTube, or any other school-friendly SAFE site. All entries will be available for viewing on SVN-TV. Make sure to include your talent and crew names in the space provided.

Winners in each catgory will be profiled in a future issue in School Video News and be awarded the coveted SVN Tropy. Don't wait:  Enter now as the deadline is April 30th, 2011.
