Save a Life PSA Competition

The Save A Life Campaign Public Service Announcement Contest is designed to help raise awareness in the community about the epidemic of bad choices being made by our young people. Its goal is to help identify the "cure" for this epidemic as being moral courage and to give support to those who want to save our youth by providing resources in the community.

Uploading at http://www.SchoolTube.com began October 6, 2008 and continues through December 19, 2008.

About the Contest

The theme of the Save A Life Campaign PSA Contest is: “A simple act of moral courage can save a life.”

This contest is open to high school students interested in expressing their commitment to making smart choices under difficult circumstances. The challenge: create an original 30-second public service announcement to demonstrate the importance of making hard, but proper life choices. Only public service announcements (PSAs) produced during the fall school semester of 2008, until December 19, 2008 are eligible. Uploading began at http://www.schooltube.com on October 6, 2008 and ends December 19, 2008.

Prizes

The first place PSA’s school will receive $1,000, the second place school will receive $500, and third place school will receive $300 - to be used towards the scholastic program of their choice.

Important Note

Please save a broadcast quality version of your PSA in the event that your entry is selected to air on television. Add 10-seconds of black to the beginning and end of each individual PSA.
